Project Details

The scope of work for this study is to analyze the existing heating system replacement options for the heating generation equipment (boiler), distribution system and terminal heating units in the original stone school building, as well as providing air conditioning and conditioned outdoor ventilation for the original 1924 school building, 1959 addition and 1981 addition. The replacement equipment options included; a unit ventilator system, a fan coil unit system used in conjunction with a dedicated outdoor air system (DOAS), a variable air volume (VAV) air handling unit system, and a variable refrigerant volume (VRV) system used in conjunction with a DOAS.
